Electrode Supply
Our NiCo Electrode in United States
Bifunctional NiCo on Ni foam (100–1000 cm²), electroless-deposited, shipped to United States. The same coated electrode operates as both HER cathode (80 mV) and OER anode (260 mV) at 100 mA/cm² in 30 wt% KOH (no IR correction).

Published reference performance
In a 5 cm² AEM cell with our bifunctional NiCo electrode on both sides and a commercial Zirfon separator (500 µm), the cell logs 0.5 A/cm² at 1.81 V at room temperature (82% energy efficiency) and 1.62 V at 60 °C (91.4%). At 1.0 A/cm²: 2.05 V at room temperature and 1.79 V at 60 °C.
Continuous 1000-hour run with the same configuration at 0.5 A/cm² and 40 °C in 30 wt% KOH: voltage drift of 21 µV/hr. Renewable-coupled dynamic-load runs of 9 days (solar) and 100 hours (wind) on the same electrode + separator combination.
Customers in United States can request samples in sizes from 5 cm² bench coupons to 1000 cm² pilot-scale electrodes to reproduce the published numbers on their own cell.
United States hydrogen context
The US hydrogen market is accelerating under the Inflation Reduction Act's production tax credits (up to $3/kg for clean hydrogen) and the DOE's $7 billion Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program. Houston, Pittsburgh, and California are focal points for hydrogen production, with applications spanning refineries, steel, ammonia, and transport. American electrolyser manufacturers are scaling rapidly to capture IRA incentives.
